Description

The Medivere Intestinal Health Check Plus is a microbiological analysis of the main aerobic and anaerobic germs, as well as of fungi and yeasts (Candida albicans and Candida spp.. This test also contains a quantitative determination of the fermentation residues. In addition, the following are determined: α-1-antitrypsin , calprotectin, bile acids, pancreatic elastase, secretory IgA.

With EPX, Beta Defense and Lactoferine. Results of the Bowel Health Check serve as the basis for individual therapy or bowel remediation and must be discussed with a doctor or therapist. In addition to determining the flora status, the Bowel Health Check contains:

the assessment of the digestive capacity
the assessment of the digestive capacity
determining the condition and function of the intestinal mucosa
the assessment of the gut-associated immune system

The Medivere test set contains a return envelope with a Dutch reply address. This envelope can only be sent from the Netherlands. If you do not have the possibility to send the sample + form from the Netherlands, you can send the sample + accompanying form yourself by express/urgent shipment to Medivere Germany. In that case, the shipping costs are for your account. The address is: Medivere GmbH Hans-Böckler-Straße 109 D-55128 Mainz.

Test preparation

Flat flush toilet: Remove “deodorant”, rinse, do not mix faeces with urine. Deep flush toilet: Use the stool collection material supplied (tool for taking the stool sample).

Test execution

  1. Use the sampling tube from the sample tube to collect samples from the stool at 3 different locations.
  2. Put this in the sample tube up to the mark height (1/2 tube)
  3. Close the tube tightly
  4. Provide the tube with your name and sampling date
  5. Place this tube in the shipping tube.
  6. Do this together with the completely completed sample guidance form in the mailing envelope. Keep the sample in the refrigerator until shipment, but do not freeze! For more information: see manual.

Place the shipping tubes with the completed, signed Sample Guidance Form in the shipping envelope and close it with care. To do this, remove the protective foil on the inside of the blue adhesive tape and press the closing points firmly against each other. Note: The envelope cannot be opened after that. Bring the packed samples to the post office the same day or put them in the letterbox. Returns may only take place on Mondays and Tuesdays and not on weekends or public holidays. In case of extreme heat or frost, do not throw the sample in the letterbox, but preferably hand in the sample at the counter of the post office.
